DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is proud of its heritage and history. Located in Pineville, Louisiana, DIS-TRAN Products opened on 16th Street back in 1965. Founded by Tucker Robison, just 7 years after he started Mid-State Supply, Robison would go on to establish Crest Industries and Beta Engineering in the 1970s. Each company headquartered in central Louisiana. Then, in 1993, DIS-TRAN Products divided into 3 corporations, DIS-TRAN Wood Products, DIS-TRAN Steel Fabrication, and DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations.
Since its establishment, DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations has gone on to complete more than 5,000 electrical substation projects, and with the art of 3D technology, added 3 new, innovative products to its core product line: Factory-Built Substations, eXpress POWER SUBSTATIONS, and DIS-TRAN PFB (Pre-Fabricated Bus). These products have put both DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations and central Louisiana on the map for revolutionizing the manufacturing and electrical industry and how electrical substations are made.
